Terms & Conditions
The following terms and conditions apply on all purchases done through the webshop of Stichting Talking Hands. Ordering items from the webshop signify agreement with these terms.
Payment
- Payment is possible with iDeal, Bancontact, Paypal, Maestro, Mastercard, and Visa.
- For shipping additional costs will be added to the order according to the current going rates of PostNL for Dutch orders or the most economical option for international orders.
- Stichting Talking Hands is not responsible for import taxes.
Shipping
- Items on the webshop of Stichting Talking Hands that are on stock will, upon receival of payment, be shipped within one week.
- All orders will be sent as a standard package. Within The Netherlands PostNL will be used as shipping agent.
Returns
Stichting Talking Hands will take the utmost care to ship your order. Nevertheless, something can go wrong during shipping. Unfortunately, we do not allow the return of purchased items or refunds of costs made. All activities of Stichting Talking Hands, including sales made through the webshop, are conducted by volunteers and are for the benefit of the education of deaf children in Uganda. Allowing returns and refunds would place an undue burden on the time of our volunteers to the extent that other fundraising activities would suffer from it. Hence we refrain from offering that service.
Products
The products that are offered on the webshop of Stichting Talking Hands are made by hand and are each unique. The appearance of ordered products will therefore inherently deviate from the images found on the website. This holds particularly true for products made using Kitenge fabric. Patterns will be different for each individual product, depending on how the garment was cut. Please take into account that your product might look slightly different than expected.
Questions / Complains
Naturally, Stichting Talking Hands aims to please all its customers. If you have a complaint, question, or comment about the products or the foundation, you can always contact us by sending a message to webshop@talking-hands.nl.
Protection of Personal Data
The data we require to process your payment and shipping will be kept confidentially and only shared with third-parties where required to ensure a successful transaction.
Liability
- The webshop of Stichting Talking hands has been put together with the utmost care. However, no rights can be claimed from any of the contents of the site. Stichting Talking Hands does not accept any liability for any damages whatsoever, that result from the use of this site and / or products. Stichting Talking Hands exempts itself from all legal consequences.
- Stichting Talking Hands cannot be held responsible for any possible deviation between delivered product and images on the website as a result of screen quality.
