Returns and Refunds
Stichting Talking Hands will take the utmost care to ship your order. Nevertheless, something can go wrong during shipping. Unfortunately, we do not allow the return of purchased items or refunds of costs made. All activities of Stichting Talking Hands, including sales made through the webshop, are conducted by volunteers and are for the benefit of the education of deaf children in Uganda. Allowing returns and refunds would place an undue burden on the time of our volunteers to the extent that other fundraising activities would suffer from it. Hence we refrain from offering that service. We hope you understand our position.
By purchasing our products you agree with this condition.
If you do not feel secure ordering an online product on these terms, we completely understand, and we advise you to purchase your product or gift elsewhere (alas for us).
In a singular case it might occur that despite our thorough care and double checks during the sending process the product is seriously flawed. In such a case, please contact us with all relevant product information and pictures to see if we can come to a solution. Please note no rights can be derived from this given information.
Products
The products that are offered on the webshop of Stichting Talking Hands are made by hand and are each unique. The appearance of ordered products will therefore inherently deviate from the images found on the website. This holds particularly true for products made using Kitenge fabric. Patterns will be different for each individual product, depending on how the garment was cut. Please take into account that your product might look slightly different than expected. This is particularly important to realize since we do not offer refunds(see above).
If you want to be absolutely certain which product will be sent to you after payment, you can e-mail us with the request to send you pictures of the products in our stock so you can pick an option. If (and only if) we have time to do so we can grant this request to ensure the delivery of the desired product. Please make sure you are as clear as possible in your description of the desired product.
This additional service will not always be possible. Therefore, no rights can be derived from this given information.
